My wife and I were led to Japan in 1969 and 435 years we were involved in helping to start new churches in the Tokyo area. We also served in a variety of ways within JEMA (Japan evangelical missionary association) fellowship, and JEA (Japan evangelical association) ministries. It also has been my privilege to be involved in the editing of Operation Japan prayer guide.

We returned to the United States in 2004, officially retired from Converge, formally Baptist General Conference. However, while still in Japan, we were able to help launch the Reaching Japanese for Christ (RJC) movement, and have served in a variety of ways within that association since then.
